“Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:25

We Love Kids.

We truly do love kids, and we love their parents too! Families matter and we are excited to partner with young parents in helping them to teach children the Word of God.

We offer Sunday morning bible classes for every age group, including a nursery.

Sunday evenings we provide the AWANA ministry for our children. They are encouraged to memorize scripture while learning how to follow Jesus in everyday life. This ministry also provides fun and games time as well. This ministry is staffed by a number of wonderful volunteers.

On Wednesday evenings our children are challenged as they learn about missions around the world. They participate in mission projects such as the Christmas shoe boxes and feeding the hungry.

We also offer a preschool and children’s choir ministry. Many committed volunteers help to lead this ministry under the direction of our Minister of Music and Education.

Young People Rock.

Our youth pastor and several great volunteers lead our student ministry. Growing in Christ along with other students is a highlight of this ministry. Pure Jesus Ministry (PJM) is what our students like to call themselves.

Students enjoy weekly bible studies and fellowship on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Sunday morning bible groups meet for time in the Word. They also enjoy student camps, retreats, and mission projects along with fun times together.

God-1st all the time is their aim.

They have chosen Philippians 4:19-20 as their ministry verse, “My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.”

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Acts 2:46-47

Find Community.

It is our goal that every individual finds his or her place in community where together we can grow and mature in our walk with Jesus. Community is necessary for doing life together. You are encouraged to join us in creating communities where the lost find Jesus and the saved grow and mature into disciples who become true disciple-makers.

Whether you enjoy the small Life Groups or the larger family Worship, we seek to help you find your place in serving God through serving others together.

We’re On A Mission.

Because we have been redeemed and made new in Christ, we are compelled to proclaim the gospel, the only hope for the billions who have never heard of Jesus.

Psalm 96:3 “Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”

Locally, we are involved in several ministries helping provide for those in need. There are opportunities for members to participate in monthly food distribution as well as annual food collections. There is also the local thrift store where many of our members volunteer their time.

Although there are opportunities to serve others through our Men’s and Ladies’ ministries, we are grateful for the Clay Changers Ministry. Clay Changers is a week-long mission effort here in Clay County. Students and adults from area churches join together in helping to minister to those here at home. Home repairs ranging from replacing roofs, building decks and porches, painting, replacing flooring, repairing plumbing, yard work, and many other tasks are tackled.

We are also involved in missions through our state and national Southern Baptist Convention. Our church has personally helped orphanages in Africa and Honduras. Mission teams travel each year or two to these areas and serve alongside missionaries and nationals. We are currently seeking a partnership with Sozo Ministries in Birmingham, Alabama. Sozo Children has purchased 28 acres of land in Uganda, Africa, and we hope to be a part of helping to build an orphanage.
